SUPPORT OUR 2018 ASSEMBLY

by Dalai Lama Fellows

Global Fellows meet for a week-long assembly and deep dive into our curriculum.

Dalai Lama Fellows was founded in 2010, with the authorization of the 14th Dalai Lama, as an independent, global, secular and ecumenical organization. Beginning with a Fellowship program, Dalai Lama Fellows has become a pioneer in integrating universal values and contemplative practices within programs for leadership and social justice.

The Fellowship program has now grown substantially in size, range, diversityand strength into an active global community and network that serve as continuing resources for next-generation leadership. We believe that our methodology and curriculum can have an important benefit beyond the circle of Fellows, now numbering more than 150 from forty nations, and are now pursuing strategies to make it available to other constituencies.

The University of Virginia will be hosting Dalai Lama Fellows’ 2018 Assembly, in Charlottesville, June 17-23, 2018, convening nearly fifty returning 2017 and newly selected 2018 Fellows from around the world. We invite your support this Spring to help us bring our Fellows together in Virginia!

Founded in 1819 by Thomas Jefferson, the University of Virginia is the nation’s #2 public university and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Assembly will cost approximately $100,000, and with this campaign, we hope to raise at least 25% of that, with a goal of $25,000. Your donations to our Spring Campaign will help provide transportation and cover onsite costs for Fellows from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
